On Nov. 7, 1975, Blanchet and Garfield high schools faced off in the Metro League football championship. The game lasted 2 hours and 55 minutes before a sellout crowd of 12,951 at Memorial Stadium and was ranked as the best high school game of the 20th Century by both the Seattle Times and Seattle Post-Intelligencer.

This is the players' story.
